Getting your trade qualification in Bricklaying

Apprenticeship

Obtaining a trade certificate in bricklaying begins with an apprenticeship. The bricklaying apprenticeship allows you to combine the best of both worlds – ‘earning and learning’ at the same time. You learn both on the job – and off the job. You’ll have two sources of experience and education to draw from – Tafe and your employer. This works great because what you may not pick up learning at Tafe, you can learn from your employer in a hands-on environment (and vice versa). Because both your employer and Tafe work together in a joint effort, it’s one of the best ways to ensure all the gaps in your knowledge are filled. This means you’ll have the best trade skills possible, to prepare yourself for a rewarding career path.
