Brick and Block Careers Vic team attended this fantastic event on 31st Jan 2023. The event was sponsored by the AGA Transition To Work Program in Epping.
A free initiative called AGA Transition To Work helps individuals between the ages of 15 and 24 build the practical skills they need to find employment.
The Vic team presented to a group of eager and interested job searchers and educated them on all the wonderful options available in starting a career through a Bricklaying Apprenticeship along with Antony Wallace -Bricklaying Teacher at the Bendigo Kangan Institute.
The crew also set up some bricks so that people could try making various designs and patterns with them; this was well-liked and entertaining! Through this, we were able to have additional conversations with some wonderful individuals who were delighted with the knowledge they had.
A massive thank you to Nina, Raf and the team for putting this all together. Also, a big thank you to Antony for making the time to come along with his expertise.
