Skill Shortage Solution grants opened in March 2023, resulting in 8 projects being awarded to pilot solutions for shortages in commercial cookery, bricklaying, concreting, electrician, air- conditioning and refrigeration mechanic and mechanical engineering occupations, as well as supporting women in trades.

This vibrant community serves as a valuable support system for young female apprentices, providing a platform to connect, develop, and motivate.

Beyond skill-sharing, the group fosters a deep sense of belonging, empowering women to conquer the challenges of a traditionally male-dominated field.
