In it to win it – Paul Coon takes out Gold at Global Skills ’19
Bricklayer, Paul Coon took out first place at last weeks Global Skills Bricklaying Competition. Taking place at Holmesglen TAFE, Paul competed against the best bricklayers from countries such as the United Kingdom, China, Russia and more. Bricklayers were given four days to complete a range of different builds, all testing essential and creative skills.

Work Ready Program on Monday, Apprenticeship by Friday!
Chan completed his Work Ready Program at Swinburne Croydon on 12th June. Just six days later on the 18th, he had started a trial with LVL Bricklaying Pty Ltd where they saw great potential and not long after, was signed as an official apprentice by 20th June.
$21,000 boost for WA Employers
The Construction Training Fund has announced an increase in wage support for Bricklaying apprentices. The program will increase a bricklaying apprentice’s wage support to employers from $17,000 to $21,000.
